About the Practitioner

Cora Jacobson grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and first began doing bodywork as a student of martial arts in 1991. She soon realized the effectiveness of massage as she helped her mother recover from a major car accident, and in 1998 she decided to pursue professional certification.

Since then, Cora has received extensive training in several styles of bodywork, graduating from the National Holistic Institute in 1998 and the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in 2002, as well as attending 10 seminars between 2001 and 2003 in the John F. Barnes approach to Myofascial Release. Her love for education, both learning and teaching, brought her to Tucson, Arizona in 2001, where she is currently on faculty in the Shiatsu department at the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts.

Cora is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, licensed by the State of Arizona, and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She is president of the Arizona chapter of the American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia. She provides Shiatsu, Myofascial Release, and Massage Therapy in Tucson through Touch of Radiance Healing Arts.

Cora believes in the body's ability to heal itself, and through her work she is a source of support for that process. She invites you to embrace your own inner radiance, empowering the journey along your path of health.
